Oh yeah, the 8" it felt at home. On my buddies 13.9, it felt..... long.

Oh my god, the Surefire 7.62 Mini II DE popped up available this morning, and I don't have the money for it. Have been waiting since Feb for it, lol. Want it to be a dedicated can for my LR308 (AR10).

Took me a while, but I finally switched out all my 5.56 Warcomps with Closed Tine flash hiders. This 30cal one is the last one I need to try and switch out.

@@Keep_It_Loaded I like the Rugged Radiant on my Adams Arms P2 16” 308. Two lengths available with it. I hear you on money. PSA was offering the HK MR762 for 3000 today, but I can’t do that with a piston AR10 and debt already lol

@RangeToyz outside of their Alaskan 360 and Oculus, I've never tried any of their other cans. Love those two, though. Have access to a 5.56 Razor and still have not tried it yet.

Actually does quite well on subs. Have used it with both 308win and 300blk subs. Their SPS is optimized, though, for 300blk

Thank you. Yeah, I figured the Nomad for its increased diameter to dedicate it to this setup over the Sandman S. Also, at least on this day, it proved to be quieter. There was a chance of a Trash Panda, but I went with what was available cause I don't want to wait on backorders, lol. The goal was good suppression and compact w/ in give or take 6"s. This setup is currently not looked at as a SHTF setup, so hard use duty style wasn't needed.

@@Keep_It_Loaded I've only got 300rds thru it but I love it. I have the 556 end cap also and you can tell the difference between the 30cal end cap with a lil more back pressure. My next move is to get into 300blk, AK or 308. Along with putting more 556 rounds down range

Yes, I've never had any problems with any of my Keymo cans. Note I religiously clean my Keymo and muzzle devices, though.

Wait, if you're talking about zero with can on or off? Then no. But yes, regardless of how many times I take it off, when I put it back on, it maintains zero

Their 165 grain 9mm is the worst subsonics I’ve ever shot. They left the cornmeal looking residue behind.

Hmm, I think I'm at like 10x different 300blk subs and have only tested function/reliability. Interesting, I've always compared difference to a super. I do have footage I haven't shared yet w/ the Stealth ammo and like 3x others I shot the same day. Don't remember hearing a difference that day, but I will have to watch the footage again.

@@Keep_It_Loaded I've shot them back to back with AAC, and Herters, and Hornady sub X. Everything was more quiet than Stealth ammo inc on different days with different lots of the stealth. All shot from a 9" sig mcx using an Omega 300 and Scythe TI. Scythe sounds better over all and first round pop to the naked ears. Can't tell a difference much with ears on though. I'm in the NW as well just north of you. Dead air rep was just up here at my LGS annual gun show. Nice guy!

@@code_red7744 I've never shot their 9mm, but I was considering trying some due to that grain weight. I've only ever had that cornmeal from freedom munitions 147 hush, and it was due to my CGS Mod9 FS having end cap kisses. Once I swapped to a Nautilus 45 end cap, accuracy and that blow back became normal.

"Limited edition"? Got me curious as a Deadair fan boy. That would be sweet. It would be similar to the one I used in the video, except mine is 1.2" shorter. I tried a 5.56 endcap years ago in my Sandman S on a MK18. Want to say it was a touch quieter but increased blowback. Actually, for that setup, I preferred sound and function with the 30cal endcap.

@@Keep_It_Loaded Dead Air made a “Heat Model” suppressed sbr a few years ago in limited numbers, maybe 30, for just under 3 G’s. A two stamp gun, but they sold out pretty quick.

Thank you! Honestly, I never knew about this can before i got to try it out. Definitely enjoyed it. The Obsidian is our top selling pistol can, and I've heard good things about it but have yet to ever try it. If it helps, i shot this can same day as the Omega 9K. For the most part they sounded alike, but once i tried in the vehicle it became obvious the Rev 9 was quieter with supers.

I'm a little partial to Griffin with my first & third can coming from them. It's about $100 cheaper than the Rugged but that's not a deal breaker by any means. I'll be deciding today & making my purchase this afternoon or in the morning. The Rev sounding good on supers is really enticing. That & it can take light usage on multiple rifle calibers.

Limited use but had zero blowback to the face! It's hard to tell, but I think less recoil also. Only tried full configuration, and subs sounded awesome on all platforms we tried. Supers, it took the bite out of it. Would've loved to do a side by side with other pistol cans. Used booster and tri-lug and had zero issues with mounting and cycling both subs and supers. Lol, I had a whole intro and details for this video, and lately, I have just not been happy with seeing or hearing me talk on my videos. Like the 4th one, I've removed and deleted my POV.

Nice! Did you know they have a spacer for when silencers are used due to how long the threaded section is, lol. I only found out last week, but every time I've looked, they've been sold out. Still shooting without anyways.

@Hobiee90m3 yeah. Clean, easily. If threads are dirty, there's some resistance towards the end. Randomly looking at Christensen's website and noticed. Lol, there are a lot of negative reviews stating it should've just come with it.

Despite I now own a Nomad 30, I'm still new to personal experience with Nomad series. Overall, I liked the lighter weight and suppression. Thought it suppressed the calibers I tried well. Never received any gas to the face. Surprised to see ejection pattern to the 3 o'clock on my 14.5" 5.56 (a good thing). Noticed a little bit of sparkling and hoped for better suppression on 300blk.
